Guide - Bottling Procedure
- Mantra: Pour One, Seal One, Pour One, Seal One.
- Only one tap may be used at a time (unless you have a double system or quattro filler) – using two damages the equipment.
- Never fill warm bottles – sparkling water will go flat.
Step-by-Step
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm running water.
- Put on a fresh pair of disposable gloves.
- If not already done, spray Bio Guard thoroughly up and around all dispense taps – do not wipe away. Leave for at least 5-10 minutes before dispensing any water.
- Ensure the work area is clean – sanitise all surfaces with a food-safe cleaning product (best done while Bio Guard is working on the taps).
- Check that all bottles have been washed in the commercial washer and are in good condition – no cracks, chips or foreign objects inside.
- Fill the bottles.
Dispensing Rules
- Only one tap may be used at a time (unless you have a double system) – dispensing from two taps simultaneously damages the equipment, and the repair is not covered under the standard Care & Maintenance agreement.
- For all tap systems, turn off the tap between each bottle fill and seal/cap the full bottle before moving to the next: Pour One, Seal One, Pour One, Seal One. This keeps the water as fresh and pure as possible.
- The Blu Glass Tower auto-measures to 2 different preset volumes.
- Quattro systems fill 4 bottles at once – insert the bottle onto the dispense head and push up to start the flow; it stops automatically once the bottle is full.
- Secure bottles with the appropriate closures and place into carry crates for distribution.
- TIP: Never fill warm bottles – your sparkling water will go flat.
