Repurposing and Reducing Waste in Production
One of our most exciting initiatives is focused on increasing the sustainability of our custom-branded glass bottle production. In the past, we used to buy box dividers to separate the bottles we packaged and shipped to our partners. However, we’ve taken a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint by repurposing packaging materials that come from our suppliers.
Rather than disposing of the cardboard packaging, we now creatively transform it into in-house box inserts, effectively recycling and reusing materials. This innovative approach not only saves cardboard from ending up in recycling bins but also aligns with our commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
Promoting Flexible Work Options for Employees
Reducing pollution is a vital aspect of our sustainability journey. To achieve this, we’ve introduced flexible working arrangements for all our employees. By allowing them to work from home part of the time, we’re reducing the need for daily commuting and, subsequently, the associated carbon emissions.
While this flexible approach offers practical benefits to our team members, our primary motivation is to contribute to a healthier environment. We firmly believe that every effort counts, and reducing pollution through remote work is a small but essential step towards a greener future.
Going Paper-Free in the Office
In line with our commitment to sustainability, we’ve gone completely paper-free in our office operations. We’ve transitioned to digital processes, eliminating the need for physical paperwork. This transition not only streamlines our operations but also significantly reduces our environmental impact.
By embracing digital solutions, we’re demonstrating our commitment to sustainable practices and minimising our reliance on precious resources like paper. It’s a small change that makes a big difference in our efforts to protect the environment.
